A location where footfall drops and turnover stays flat is not a problem location. It is a location whose conversion rate just went up, and the only way to see that is to have transactions and visitor counts in the same place, for the same day, per site. That is the point of the new Vemcount integrations: four sales sources and one web analytics source now feed the same platform that already counts your visitors.
The new sales integrations
Three new POS integrations are live in production and can be configured for any customer holding the required vendor API credentials:
- Revel Systems, a point of sale platform used by restaurants and retailers.
- Wellyx, management software for fitness and wellness businesses.
- FirstBit, ERP software used in the Gulf region.
The fourth addition is a Roller integration for payment transactions. It runs separately from the existing Roller sales and attendance import and brings payment transaction data from Roller, the venue management software used by leisure and attraction venues, into Vemcount. If you already import Roller sales and attendance, this is an additional data stream, not a replacement.
Revel Systems, Wellyx and FirstBit are not switched on automatically for every account. Setup is done by the Vemco support team together with the customer. To be clear about the relationship: these are integrations with vendor systems, built so their data lands in Vemcount. They are not partnerships, and the vendors are not endorsing anything.
Google Analytics 4 integration: web sessions beside store visits
The Google Analytics 4 integration is a configurable daily import. It pulls website session counts into Vemcount as footfall-like data, together with daily sales turnover and transaction counts from GA4. Each customer provides a GA4 property ID and an authorised service account. The import is daily, so treat it as a daily comparison tool: online visits for a day next to physical visits for the same day, with sales and transactions for both channels in the same platform.
For an operator running stores and a web shop, that closes a familiar gap. Store footfall has been in Vemcount all along. Web traffic has lived in a separate tool, read by a separate team. Having both counted in the same platform means a campaign week can be judged on total visits and total transactions, not on whichever channel someone remembered to check.
Why footfall and sales data belong together
With transactions next to visitor counts, two metrics become available per location: conversion rate and average purchase. Both depend on the visitor count being trustworthy. Vemco Group's counting accuracy is a contractual minimum of 96 percent and typically 98 to 99 percent when lighting, store layout and visitor behaviour allow. Across 55,000+ installations in 98+ countries, that is the denominator the new sales integrations divide into.
One practical point: setup needs the vendor API credentials or, in the GA4 case, a GA4 property ID and an authorised service account. Find out who in your organisation can provide them before you ask for the integration.
Not on the list? Use the REST API
Any other point of sale system can push sales data to Vemcount through the Vemcount REST API. The named integrations remove work for customers on those specific platforms; the API covers everything else. Other supported integrations are listed at vemcogroup.com/integrations.
Frequently asked questions
Which new sales integrations are live in Vemcount? Revel Systems, Wellyx and FirstBit are live in production for customers with the required vendor API credentials. Roller Payment Transactions is also live as a separate integration from the existing Roller sales and attendance import. Revel Systems, Wellyx and FirstBit are configured by the Vemco support team together with the customer rather than enabled by default.
How does the Google Analytics 4 integration work in Vemcount? It is a configurable daily import that brings website session counts into Vemcount as footfall-like data, along with daily sales turnover and transaction counts. The customer supplies a GA4 property ID and an authorised service account. Data arrives once a day, so it is suited to day-level comparison of online and in-store activity.
How do I get a sales integration set up in Vemcount? Confirm that you hold API credentials for your POS, ERP or venue system, or the GA4 property ID and service account for web data. Then contact Vemco Group and request the integration; the support team configures it with you. Systems not on the list can send sales data through the Vemcount REST API.
If you run Revel Systems, Wellyx, FirstBit or Roller, or want web sessions from Google Analytics 4 counted alongside your store footfall, ask Vemco Group to set up the integration. Have your API credentials or GA4 property ID ready, and local support will take it from there.
