The Tenant Reports You Had To Chase, Now Tracked, Ranked And Delivered: The VemTenant Update

The Tenant Reports You Had To Chase, Now Tracked, Ranked And Delivered: The VemTenant Update

Every month the same question lands with the finance team of a shopping centre: which tenants have not reported turnover yet, and how much of the month's figure is still missing. The new VemTenant is live now, built around that question, on top of four improvements that are already in the platform.

    Already Live Today

Missing report alerts flag a tenant report the moment it is late, so the gap is dealt with in the first week and not at month end. Average vacancy duration shows how long each unit has stood empty, not only that it is empty, which is the number leasing needs. The transaction level turnover table shows tenant turnover down to the individual receipt and exports to Excel, so a figure can be checked before it is used in a rent calculation. Scheduled report exports deliver the reports your team relies on by email or PDF on a schedule, without anyone pulling them by hand.

    A Clearer VemTenant

Landlords get a dashboard on login with mall performance, tenants with outstanding submissions, tenant activity and rankings, expiring and new leases, reminders and shortcuts to reports. Tenants get their own dashboard with their performance over time and against their branch and the mall, and quick access to turnover submission. A new ranking report follows ranking changes week to date, month to date and year to date on the KPIs you choose. Revenue reporting status, mall statistics and turnover statistics are combined into fewer, chart supported reports. Turnover submission runs from the Data Manager Hub with a single terminal selector, and tenants can submit by file upload, SFTP, POS integration or API. The data and the workflows are the same; the way you reach them is simpler.

    VemTenant And Your ERP

Most centres run their leases and finances in an ERP or a property system, and that stays the system of record. VemTenant sits next to it as the tenant facing layer: it collects turnover from tenants, reminds the ones who are late, and ranks and motivates them. Where the Yardi integration is set up for your centre, VemTenant exchanges tenant and turnover data with Yardi; otherwise the data moves between VemTenant and your systems by file, SFTP, POS integration or API. Your ERP manages the lease; VemTenant gives tenants a tool to improve their sales and their visitation, which is the part an ERP does not offer. Data and transparency between tenant and landlord is what makes a centre work, and that is what VemTenant is for.

    What To Do?

Existing VemTenant customers do not need to do anything; the new experience appears at login with the Try the new experience button. If you manage a centre and want to see it, book a demo.

    Questions We Get

Do we lose any reports in the update? No, all existing report content and functionality stays; several reports are combined and gain charts. Does VemTenant replace our ERP? No. Turnover and tenant data can be exchanged with your systems by file, SFTP, POS integration or API, and with Yardi where that integration is set up for you.
