    Xovis sensor integration

Xovis sensors are AI-powered 3D overhead people counters using stereo vision or structured light. They push data to Vemcount via outbound-only network connections — no inbound firewall ports are needed. Vemco Group is a Xovis Gold Partner.

    Xovis sensor families

    PC2 Series

    Second-generation 3D people counter. Standard indoor retail and commercial use. Models: PC2SE (standard), PC2SE-L (wide lens), PC2SE-UL (ultra-wide), PC2RE (with WiFi/BT), PC2SE-O / PC2SE-LO / PC2SE-UL-O (outdoor-rated variants).

    PC3 Series

Third-generation 3D sensor with enhanced AI, higher accuracy and extended mounting height range. Models: PC3SE, PC3SE-H, PC3SE-L, PC3SE-M1, PC3SE-M2 and outdoor (-O) variants of each.

    PF-L (People Flow Large)

High-coverage sensor designed for large open spaces, malls, transport hubs. Covers 5.6×5.6m at 2.5m height, 10.0×10.0m at 3.5m height.

    Coverage tables by mounting height

These values are calculated from the Xovis Hub Coverage Calculator. Coverage increases significantly with mounting height — always use the maximum practical height for your ceiling to minimise sensor count.

    Setup steps

    1. After physical installation, send the sensor MAC address and location name to the Vemco support team for onboarding.

    2. The sensor is configured with detection zones, counting lines, and data push settings pointing to Vemcount.

    3. The location is created in Vemcount and the sensor is attached.

    4. For advanced setups (Adults/Children/Staff counting), see Xovis — Adults, Children, Groups & Staff counting setup.

    5. For remote sensor access and configuration, use Settings → Devices → Connect to device in Vemcount.

Important: Sensor calibration must be completed before data is reliable. Do not use data from a sensor that has not been validated. Validation involves comparing live sensor counts against a manual count — the sensor passes if the difference is below 10%.
