Admin users can create and manage multiple user accounts and roles in Vemcount. There is no limit on the number of users or roles you can create.
Three elements control what a user can see and do. All three must be configured — missing any one means the user can log in but will see no data.
Permissions — what the user is allowed to do
Role — a predefined permission bundle (optional, but recommended)
Company & location access — which data the user can see
Path: Cogwheel (Settings) → Users → Add user
Log in with Admin credentials.
Click the cogwheel (Settings) in the top-right corner and select Users.
Click Add user.
Fill in the user details: Base company, Username, Email, Full name, Timezone, Language.
Assign permissions — either individually or by applying a predefined Role.
Go to Companies and assign the relevant company, location, or sub-location.
Click Save.
Send the user a welcome email: open the user profile → Send welcome email — this delivers their login credentials.
Tip: Always assign both permissions AND company/location access. Without company/location access, the user will log in but see no data.
