    Opened on August 20, 2015 with 19,000 GLA, more than 102 stores and an expansion project for next year, Anhanguera Parque Shopping is the first and most modern shopping center in the city of Cajamar.

    Concerned not only with providing the best entertainment for its visitors, the development follows the concept of sustainable practices, such as techniques to reduce water consumption, natural lighting in the events and food courts using external decks, energy-saving lighting fixtures with timers, among others.

    The mall was looking for a reliable solution that would help them understand consumer profiles and track visitor flows - all while staying cost- and energy efficient. This is where Vemco Group came to help.

    Problem

    The shopping center was looking for a comprehensive solution that would assist all departments of the enterprise. It needed to track the visitor flow accurately so that the commercial department could analyze and sell the spaces more precisely, and the marketing department would have reliable data for daily data-driven decisions.

    The main needs were:

    • To understand the visitor flow accurately
    • To analyze the attractiveness of each space in the shopping center for more profitable commercial sales for both parties
    Solution

    In partnership with the mall team, we planned a project, in which we installed sensors at all entrances and spaces that would be important to count and measure in.

    Thus, with Vemco Group's technology, the mall now has an understanding of its audience profile and holds concrete and assertive data on the value per square meter of each space in the mall.
