After physical installation, send the sensor MAC address and location name to the Vemco support team for onboarding.
The sensor is configured with detection zones, counting lines, and data push settings pointing to Vemcount.
The location is created in Vemcount and the sensor is attached.

For remote sensor access and configuration, use Settings → Devices → Connect to device in Vemcount.
Important: Sensor calibration must be completed before data is reliable. Do not use data from a sensor that has not been validated. Validation involves comparing live sensor counts against a manual count — the sensor passes if the difference is below 10%.
