Vemcount collects data from people-counting sensors installed at a site. Supported sensor brands referenced in the help center include:
Xovis | 3D sensors used for accurate counting and multi-sensor tracking/queue scenarios. Firmware is managed (e.g. 4.x → 5.x upgrade SOP exists). |
Milesight | People-counting sensors; require specific firewall/network access to report to Vemcount. |
TDI | Supported sensor family; also has a Vemcount firewall configuration guide. |
General requirements:
Network/firewall: sensors must reach Vemcount through the addresses/ports in the relevant firewall guide.
Assignment: each sensor is assigned to a Location and an Entrance or Zone in Settings → Devices.
Status: a sensor showing "Sample data" is in test mode or not yet connected.
