Occupancy is the number of people inside a location or zone at a given moment. Vemcount calculates it in real time as entries minus exits and shows it through the Live Inside widget.
Real-time: Live Inside updates as people enter and leave.
Self-correcting: if a sensor misses an exit, the count can drift high; it corrects over time, and admins with the right permission can manually Reset inside.
Capacity use cases: occupancy supports safety limits, queue/flow management, and space utilisation analysis.
Zone occupancy: select a Zone source to measure how many people are in a specific internal area (e.g. a café, waiting area).
