Model variants

VS125-LW

Low-height specialist. Mounting height 1.9–3.5m. Best for shops and offices with standard ceilings. PoE or Cellular. 130° horizontal FoV.

VS125-P

Standard ceiling version. Mounting height 2.2–6m. Up to 16-device stitching for wide entrances and large spaces. PoE.

VS125-O

Outdoor-rated IP67. Same coverage as VS125-P. -30 to 65°C. For outdoor canopies, transit entrances, scenic venues.

Key capabilities

  • Up to 99.8% accuracy with deep learning AI and binocular stereo vision

  • Works in 0 lux — built-in IR illuminators enable full accuracy in complete darkness

  • Rich demographics — gender recognition, adult/child differentiation, group counting, staff detection

  • Multi-device stitching — link up to 16 sensors for wide entrances without gaps

  • Heat maps — foot traffic intensity and distribution across zones

  • View direction detection — for retail window and display optimisation

  • GDPR-compliant — no personal data transmitted, customer-defined privacy settings

  • U-turn filtering — prevents over-counting people who change direction in the counting zone

Connecting VS125 to Vemcount

  1. VS125 uses HTTP(S) push to send data directly to Vemcount. No gateway needed.

  2. In the VS125 web interface, configure the data push URL to https://data.vemcount.com/ss/milesight.

  3. Ensure outbound TCP 443 is open to data.vemcount.com.

  4. Register the sensor in Vemcount: ⚙ Settings → Devices → + Add sensor → enter MAC address → Vendor: Milesight → submit.

  5. For multi-device stitching across a wide entrance, configure the stitching group in the VS125 web interface first, then register each sensor separately in Vemcount and link them to the same zone.
