Permissions determine what a user can do. Company and location assignment determines what data the user can actually see.
To assign a user to a company or location:
Select the down arrow next to the relevant user account.
Select Edit.
Open Companies in the left-hand menu.
Use the Assign a new company dropdown if the user should have access to all data in the company, then select Assign.
Use the Assign a new shop dropdown if the user should only have access to a specific location.
Repeat for each additional location if needed.
Depending on tenant setup, Groups and Tags may also be used as an additional structure for organising access and reporting. For example, they can be used to organise locations by region, country, store type, or business unit.
